Discoverer-2 is a small 7.25m lenght research boat.
The boat offers the following features:
1) Onboard NaviOS operating system - the modular design of the central unit allows for connection of up to 4 video inputs with external switching control.
2) Separate stylized NaviOS touchscreen keyboard - with memory, editing, and GPS coordinate transfer functions to external autopilot modules.
3) Autopilot.
4) Cruise control.
5) Active stabilizer in two axes.
Various equipment and a diving suit are carried on board.
Specifications:
Engine: approximately 4.5-5 kW, 900±10 RPM maximum.
Speed: 38±1 km/h (depending on conditions).
Fuel: 2 tanks with a total capacity of 453 liters.
