Ramier | Steam Harbor Tugboat

Information

The Ramier is a small, French steam tugboat inspired by the Kerne. It may be small but it packs a punch when used properly. From barge towing to maneuvering ships in ports, its uses are vast. Please Upvote it if you enjoy!

Operations

  • Light the boiler using the lightoff switch.
  • The engine can be throttled from the helm or engine room- note that it accelerates slow at low throttle
  • When you stop, it blows steam out of the loop, watch your feedwater level located in the forward crew spaces.
  • There are 3 tow hooks located amidships and a electrical connector below them. Emergency release on the helm for the 3 tow hooks.
  • Coal scuttles are on the port and starboard walkways and feedwater refill is on the starboard walkway.
  • The whistle is the cord above the left of the wheel.

Things to Know

  • Stay ontop of the rudder, when towing a heavy vessel you can quickly lose control
  • It may look like its about to flip sometimes but have faith in it
  • Engine throttle is a little finicky but it is roughly what it says on the panel.
  • Please DO NOT TAKE OR REUPLOAD THE SHIP OR PARTS OF IT
