Designed using landing crafts originally made by Alumarine, Baird Maritime, and Munson Boats.

Deck Size: 10m x 5.75m
LWL: 16.25m Hull Speed: 5m/s-5.5m/s
LOA: 19.5m Max Speed: ~49m/s @ 8,000 mass; ~40m/s @ 11,000 mass
Beam: 6.75m Cruise Speed: 15-20m/s
Freeboard 1.5m
Draft: 1.5m
Notes: Overall, I am quite happy with the design as it blends some conformity from traditional semi-planing hulls with characteristics of Australian design. The boat is capable of carrying two ISO containers and the performance is surprising in calmer waters.
Stability could be improved - the size is inadequate - with the lowest point of the ship being fifteen meters wide it falls into a midrange that needs extra proportional forces (propellers + control surfaces) and a PID controller to keep it stable in turns and stormy waters (not enough internal volume). One hundred percent winds prove challenging to take head on as the slow hull speed combined with the traditional design lift the vessel out of the water and as the bow slams back into the water, the propellers are also in the void spot of the wave, making it porpoise and skip.
Improvements would be to increase the draft, use the pivot glitch and extra mass, a hydrofoil design to skip the waves entirely, or a redesign into a reverse bow hull.
