The Scandinavian Rover is a 4 Masted Barque made as a trainingship.
This is not a realistic sailing ship as i have a hard time understanding how they work. So a lot of the systems are different to how they would be in real life.
Name inspired by the song: The Irish Rover.
And design inspired by the Danish sailing ship: København.

Story:
In 1925 The Scandinavian Rover was built by a shipyard in Denmark. She was built as a training ship for young cadets. And while many saw her as old because of her being a sailing ship. She was state of the art for her time. She had watertight compartments, a diesel engine, and her sails had retractable booms instead of ropes and pulleys. She even had horizontal fins under the water to keep her from nose diving.
She was owned by T.G.F. She usually travelled between Donk Island and South Harbour. She had a very quiet life. Except one time in 1932 when a big wave threw one of the lifeboats onto the deck. Other than that nothing really happened. She was retired in 1975 when she was deemed no longer needed. She was purchased by the capital of Denmark and sits proudly on display as a national landmark in København.
