Electric Transverse-Rotor Container Helicopter
The Kolibri is a compact electric helicopter built to the exact dimensions of an ISO container. With its side-by-side twin-rotor design, it can be loaded, transported, and stored just like any other container – and then deployed to move containers itself. Simply land on top of a container and lift off.
It flies at a relaxed pace, making it well suited for precise placement work around ships and docks. Since it runs on battery power, the electric motor throttle should be adjusted manually based on current load and remaining charge. It can be recharged through its container connectors while stored aboard a ship or via its cable port.
The cockpit has open sides so you can easily hop in and out – useful for preparing containers or coordinating lifts. Motor and lights shut off automatically when you leave the seat.
The Kolibri is included with the B4-F Beluga Freighter, where it can be charged by the ship's reactors while stored as a container.
Warning: If you rotate the Kolibri when placing it in the editor, the gyro will not work correctly. Here is the original Kolibri.
