This is an integration mod for Pawns Choose Research and Vanilla Books Expanded.
With Pawns Choose Research, pawns select their own research projects based on their skill passions and traits, taking away the player's control over research. This patch restores limited choice to the player by taking the Blueprints from Vanilla Book Expanded and turning them into research books which, when read, force a pawn to switch to that research project.

In addition to switching to the designated research project (or prerequisite for underlying theory) pawns will gain a little bit of research toward the project. However, the amount of research gained is lower than the amount that would have been gained at a research bench.
The effects of this mod are temporarily disabled by selecting "Restore Player Control" in the Pawns Choose Research settings.

Each blueprint also contains underlying theory for a randomly chosen prerequisite, allowing you to force two research projects with just one blueprint.
