Enhanced Work Tab is a comprehensive embedded Work tab overhaul for RimWorld. It maintains the familiar vanilla feel while adding deep priority control, orientation-aware visuals, and powerful colony-wide management tools. Whether you're fine-tuning specific sub-tasks or managing a massive colony with a high-resolution display, this mod gives you the visual clarity and precision controls you need.

Key Features

• Auto-Optimizer Engine: Let the mod calculate the perfect workflow for your colony based on skills, passions, and customizable override rules. Preview generated layouts before applying!
  
• Zone-Aware Priorities: Tie priority profiles directly to allowed areas (Zone > Time-Slot > Default precedence) for hyper-localized task management.
  
• Time-Aware Scheduling: Use the collapsible timeline footer to create hour-specific priority overrides for peak efficiency.
  
• Detailed Sub-Work Priorities: Expand any work type to reveal and prioritize individual work givers (e.g. separate "Refueling" from "Hauling").
  
• Expanded Priorities (1-9): Fine-tune your workflow with a 1-9 manual priority range, color-coded for instant visual recognition.
  
• Skill Overlay: Hold Shift to see numerical skill levels in every cell and instantly highlight the best-suited pawn for the job you're looking at.
  
• Colony Presets: Save up to three priority snapshots (Default + P1-P3). Priority changes are automatically captured, allowing you to switch setups for emergencies or seasonal shifts with one click.
  
• Drag-and-Drop Ordering: Enter Edit Mode to freely reorder your work columns or instantly reposition pawns to match your mental model.
  
• Mass Edit & Skill Sorting: Hold Ctrl and scroll/click over a work header to instantly adjust the priority for all visible pawns, or left-click a header to quickly sort colonists by their relevant skill level.
  
• Advanced Search: Find pawns quickly in huge lists and use skill-aware work search to find the right specialists at a glance.

Visuals & UI Refinement

• Multiple Header Styles: Choose between Vertical, Slanted, Horizontal, or Vertical (Horizontal chars) headers to suit your screen space. Sub-headers smartly adapt to prevent overlap.
  
• Dynamic Sizing & Compact Mode: The tab adapts to your resolution, offering dynamic row scaling and a space-saving Compact Mode for massive colonies.
  
• Dense Table Highlights: Optional full-row and full-column hover highlights ensure you never lose your place on wide screens.
  
• Integrated Info Columns: View Mood, Action, Idle status, and Allowed Areas directly in the row.
  
• Job Highlighting: Once enabled, the tile influencing your pawn's current action will be highlighted on the table in real-time.
  

Compatibility

• Work Tab Mods: This is a comprehensive overhaul. It is not compatible with other mods that replace the Work Tab (e.g. Fluffy's Work Tab forks, Better Work Tab, etc.).
  
• Save Compatible: Can be safely added to or removed from existing saves at any time.
  
• Mod Support: Fully supports custom work types and sub-tasks added by other mods seamlessly.
  

Customization

Tailor your experience via the Mod Options:

• Toggle either the Auto-Optimizer and Zone-Aware Priorities engines on or off.
  
• Switch between Vertical, Slanted, Horizontal, or Vertical (Horizontal chars) header styles.
  
• Enable Compact Mode and Uncapped Tab Width for high-resolution displays.
  
• Toggle Row & Column Hover Highlighting.
  
• Customize Mood and Action column displays (Icon or Text).
  
• Choose between Vanilla, Alphabetical, or Manual pawn sorting modes.
