This scenario is based off of Naked Brutality with a few tweaks. This scenario has the following effects active:

-Cold snap, every 3 days (almost constant)
The player will start with hydroponics technology researched as unroofed, outdoor farming will be nearly impossible, and not sustainable.
Animal manhunting packs, mass animal insanity, single animal insanity, and manhunter ambush are all disabled.
The player will start with 1x vanometric power cell and 187 potatoes.
It will be important in the beginning to get hydroponics up and running ASAP.
Your faction will be a New Arrivals.

-Volcanic winter: Some distant volcano or fire is choking the atmosphere with ash, significantly reducing the amount of light which reaches the surface. Temperatures will be colder and plants will grow slower.
