Mine actual metal ores instead of compacted ones. Titanium and iron instead of steel and plasteel, turn them into alloys at a smelter. Plasteel is made with titanium and uranium while steel is made from iron and wood.
Note this mod renames plasteel and steel to titanium and iron, this mod does not change/alter/add any minable metals. In technical terms this mod only changes the metals names and certain recipes. Plasteel and steel in this mod are seperate from vanilla steel and plasteel and better. All your recipes will be with titanium and iron instead of plasteel and steel (this works for absolutley every modded item that requires vanilla steel/plasteel in it's construction). I made this this way because i don't like mods that add compexity to stuff needlessly, I'd rather have steel and plasteel be specialised high quality metals that you can make stuff out of with effort instead of making basic materials harder to get. Just my preference.
Incompatible:
- sort of a soft incompatiblity with anything that adds steel or plasteel production (will most likley be fine just a bit weird).
- Propably the LOTR core module and Ancient Rim.
Compatible:
- Vanilla expanded production
- Fueled Smelter + Crematorium(continued)
Should be fine with existing saves. Always make a hard copy before installing new mods onto a save, you have been warned.
