Ever thought to yourself, "Wow, those turrets are really lousy shots!"?
This simple mod adds new research tree items which permit you to push the quality of your turrets to new levels.
Intermediate Turrets research allows building turrets with 50% improved accuracy and 50% improved armor/health.
Advanced Turrets research allows building turret with 100% improved accuracy and 100% improved armor/health.
Both new turret levels require more advanced materials to build. Upgraded turrets also increase power use by 50% and 100% due to improved onboard AI.
In addition, upgraded turrets use better barrel designs which improve range slightly and reduce wear, allowing more shots before reload.
WARNING: Note that using this mod to build the new turret types then removing this mod will cause game saves to load incorrectly and may delete your turrets!
