It was supposed to be a new life, a new hope. Eight passangers were sent to colonize Proxima b. After being put into cryptosleep pods and placed on a one of a kind shuttle, the launch went without any problems. Shortly thereafter, contact was lost. Everyone assumed the shuttle was destroyed. Eventually the shuttle, drifing for who knows how long, ran out of power. Caught by the gravity of an unknown planet, the emergency evacuation system engages and jettisons the drop pods.
