Storage Core
- Base capacity: 100 item groups
- Upgrade system: 4 tiers, up to 1000 groups (Basic → Advanced → Superior → Quantum)
- Network naming: Customize the name of each storage network
- Power-driven: Requires power to operate; consumption increases with tier
- Item digitization: Items stored in the core are not rendered, do not tick, and do not rot — improving performance
- Reserve system: Adjustable reserved item count as a compatibility bridge with vanilla hauling
Storage Interface
- Auto-transfer: Items placed on the interface are automatically sent to the bound core
- Auto-connect: Automatically connects to an adjacent core when placed
Terminal Chip Implant
- Research unlock: Craftable after completing Terminal Implant research
- Direct use: Select a colonist and use the terminal chip to implant
- Mechanoid support: Implanting a mechanitor grants all controlled mechanoids access as well
Cross-Map Features (requires Terminal Chip)
Colonists and mechanoids with a terminal chip can:
- Workbench crafting: Pull materials directly from the home base core on any map
- Construction: Use materials from the core when building
- Material counting: ResourceCounter tallies materials across all map cores
- Auto-delivery: Materials teleport to the colonist's location — no manual hauling needed
- Settlement trading: Caravans don't need to carry anything — just have someone with a chip in the party
- Works across maps!!!
