The original mod is NOT by me, it's by [b]jecrell[/b] and revived by [b]Mlie.[/b]
The revived version is largely compatible with CE and 1.2 but there are various issues with the items/animals it adds due to some updates to CE that would cause repeated red errors.
This is simply a compatibility patch. I had created this simply as a fix for myself during my LOTR Elves playthrough, but decided to push it out in Steam in case other people are also playing this with CE on 1.2 and wanted to address the repeated issues. Please load at the bottom of the list.
Animal Updates:
- Uses AnimalReskins pack_6 horses for LOTR horse texture. Credit to [b][Kor] HellCross[/b] for his amazing work. Please go check out his H.C. reskin. I had included ONLY his horse artwork within the Textures so it's not a dependency, but it's seriously amazing.
- Armor penetration added for LOTR horse. (CE)
- Rescales the lorian deer size.
- Melee crit/dodge/parry chance added for LOTR horse and deer. (CE)
Misc Changes:
- Makes Mallorn wood refuelable wood type.
Weapons/CE Updates:
- Patch for Elven Shield and Buckler, using CE Shields ParentDef.
- Elven shields changed from Weapon type to Shield type using CE Shields base.
- Patch for Elven weapons, including the knife - dual weapon set to no and actually allowed to use with shield in CE
This is my first mod, and I'm not a coder by any means, so the codes within the patch may not be optimal, but they work, and do not generate errors. Will update as I find any other errors with the LOTR Elves mod as I play, or possibly for other races if I play as them in the future.
