SpawnPoint Overhaul

Your one-stop shop for all things related to spawn points. Currently includes over 1900 hand-selected spawns, with more to come in the future. ________________________________________ Confirmed working in 42.17

In this update, the devs added a spawn point for many of the cities. Yes, you are reading this right: "one" spawn per city. To get the full variety of this mod, make sure to use the ones labeled "- SPO".
Description I was frustrated with the way Project Zomboid handles spawn points. Why are there only two options enabled for Rosewood? Why can’t I spawn in the new locations added in the Build 42 map expansion? Why don't I have the option to let the game choose from all available spawn points for a truly random experience every time I start a new game? Well, this mod changes that. You now have a vast selection of new spawns when starting a fresh save. You can choose to spawn in:

Anywhere
Anywhere, but Louisville
Brandenburg (114)
Echo Creek (32)
Ekron (61)
Fallas Lake (27)
Irvington (134)
Louisville (1061)
March Ridge (68)
Muldraugh (107)
Riverside (101)
Rosewood (68)
Valley Station (66)
West Point (105)
All these points are added in addition to the base game spawns. Nothing is overwritten, ensuring maximum compatibility with other mods. Anti-Dark-Spawn System Every survivor starts with a lighter in their inventory to ensure you're never trapped in total darkness. Additionally, the mod will attempt to automatically flip the light switch in your starting room if the power is still on. Compatibility There should not be any issues with other mods. Multiplayer This mod is not recommended for use in multiplayer, as the presence of a spawn point inside a house prevents it from being claimed as a safehouse. If you still want to add these spawns to your server, please take a look at the "Multiplayer Instructions" discussion. Known Issues None. How to Spot a Broken Spawn & What to Do To maintain the quality of this mod, please look out for the following:

Placement: You should always spawn inside a building.
Clipping: You should not be stuck inside furniture or walls.
If you encounter a spawn point that breaks these rules, please report it! How to report Provide the coordinates of the location (and ideally a screenshot), and I will fix it in the next update. Future Updates

Minor settlement spawns
Occupational spawns (job-specific starts)
Wilderness spawns
Notes for the Best Experience For the best experience, you should change the “Player Spawn Area” setting to “Inside the room.” This ensures that larger buildings are not completely devoid of zombies when you appear. But be warned: some spawns will be a truly hellish experience!
