Have you ever wondered why colonists keep the lights on while sleeping?
It feels like a waste of power and may affect sleep quality.
A dark bedroom after turning off the lights has a quiet, immersive atmosphere, and I wanted that feeling.
So I made this mod.

By default, all lights based on LampBase will automatically cut power when someone is sleeping in a bedroom.
You can scan and toggle specific light types in the settings. For performance reasons, the scan is conservative and may not detect every light you want.
If you want compatibility with a specific light, feel free to leave a comment.

As for performance, this mod is very conservative. According to Dubs Performance Analyzer, the average usage of mapcomponent is less than 0.1ms, and the maximum usage is less than 2ms, so it is safe to use.

Remember to disable the power overlay in settings.
PS: the lamp has a switch to use it as a nightlight, which can prevent being damaged while sleeping during unusually dark event

2026.04.19 Update:
Added a feature in settings to quickly add compatibility for mod light sources using the mod’s PackageId. Changes require reloading the save to take effect.
Added a +3 mood bonus for sleeping in complete darkness.
