An expansion for the Wolfein Race mod. Choose between MegaCorp and the Resistance, earn honor, climb the ranks, unlock permits, and play through to a faction-specific ending.

Requires: Wolfein Race, Royalty DLC, Odyssey DLC, RimWorld 1.6


Story

A wounded Wolfein colonist arrives at your colony. MegaCorp soon contacts you to demand they be handed over, while Resistance refugees ask for shelter. You decide which side to take.

  • Side with MegaCorp — hand over the refugees and work your way up the corporate ladder.
  • Side with the Resistance — shelter the refugees and help dismantle the local MegaCorp branch office.

Features

Two Faction Paths

Each side has its own 5-rank Royalty-style title hierarchy:

  • MegaCorp: Contractor → Employee → Supervisor → Director → Executive
  • Resistance: Recruit → Agent → Captain → Commander → General

26 Permits

Spend favor and permit points on a faction-specific tree:

  • MegaCorp: HE orbital bombardment, incendiary / HE carpet bombing, "Danger Close" map-wide strike, reinforcement drops, drone swarms, artillery, Regular Army deployment, welfare food drops, and shuttle transport.
  • Resistance: EMP bombardment, reinforcements, assault teams, mortar strikes, night raids, spy intel, hacked MegaCorp shuttle requisition, food drops, and laborer help.

Quest Campaign

Over 20 quests cover the campaign from the first contact to the final mission:

  • Side Choice — refugee arrival, MegaCorp ultimatum, allegiance declaration.
  • Honor quests — site raids, outpost defense, sabotage, supply runs, frontline battles, siege relief, propaganda consoles, refugee camp raids/rescues, storage raids, comm jamming, and more.
  • Final quest — VIP inspection defense (MegaCorp) or comm base raid (Resistance).
  • Prep quests — optional missions that grant bonuses (intel, sabotage, allies, supplies) to the clear quest.
  • Clear quest — branch office defense and shuttle escape (MegaCorp) or branch office assault, hacking, and escape (Resistance).
  • Ending — a faction-specific conclusion.

Starting Scenario — Wolfein Refugees

An alternate start bundled with this mod. Three Wolfein are held captive in a truck cargo hold when a roadside battle offers a fleeting chance at freedom.

  • Survive the intro event, then reach the map edge to form a caravan and move on.
  • Both MegaCorp and the Resistance begin at neutral (goodwill: 0). The Side Choice quest fires normally once you settle.
  • Each colonist starts with personal supplies: Wolfein medicine ×5, packed meals ×10, steel ×30, components ×5.

  • Custom bombardment projectiles, shells, and transport ships.
  • Dynamic quest firing tuned per side, with prep-quest effects resolved at runtime.
  • Integrates with the Royalty title / permit UI.
  • Odyssey passenger shuttle transport.
  • Mod settings: adjust honor quest firing frequency per side (lower for a more relaxed pace).
  • Localization: English, 日本語, 简体中文, 繁體中文.

Compatibility

  • Existing saves — adding to an existing save is untested; it may work if allegiance state loads correctly, but is not guaranteed.
  • Mid-save removal is not supported (quests and titles will break).
  • Compatible with Humanoid Alien Races (transitive dependency via Wolfein Race).
  • Combat Extended: Optional compatibility is included. If you play with Combat Extended, Wolfein CE Patches is also required.

How to Start

The initial quest "Refugees at the Gate" fires automatically once all of the following are met:

  • At least 5 in-game days have passed since game start
  • Colony wealth exceeds 16,000 silver
  • Your colony (or caravan) contains at least one free Wolfein colonist (not a prisoner or slave)

Wolfein colonists can be obtained through the parent mod's refugee events, prisoner recruitment, trade, and so on.
