Currently a WORK IN PROGRESS!!
[b] This mod introduces a new skill "Locksmithing" alongside a new profession "Locksmith" and trait "Amateur Locksmith". [/b]
[b] The current capabilities of this mod allow you to: [/b]
- Pick building locks (lvl. 1)
- Pick car door locks (lvl. 3)
- Copy car keys (lvl. 3)
Materials:
[b] Lockpicking: [/b]
- Screwdriver
- Paperclip
[b] Copying: [/b]
- Small file set / Multitool
- Key to copy
- Key Blank
How to pick a lock:
- Right click on a locked door or car
- Context menu option to Pick Lock
How to train lockpicking:
- Crafting menu: Practice Lockpicking
Known Issues:
- Copied vehicle keys will not have the vehicle name
-- These still function properly
Planned features:
- Training lockpicking on the vanilla padlock
- Crafting vanilla locks
- Dedicated lockpick item
