Story

A mysterious benefactor made contact, delivering schematics for a single weapon: the Kabuto Zecter Belt.
Train, transform, and eliminate the Worm threat before the colony falls.

Overview
Adds Kamen Rider Kabuto — the transforming Masked Rider from the 2006 Tokusatsu series — to RimWorld's Anomaly threat system. Install the Kabuto Zecter Belt implant on a colonist, and they become your colony's ultimate weapon against the Worm invasion.
This mod integrates fully with the Anomaly DLC: Worms arrive as escalating entity threats, the Entity Codex tracks them, and the Zecter's energy economy ties directly into the bioferrite loop. If you've never seen Kamen Rider Kabuto, think: a colonist who can turn invisible, move faster than the eye can see, and end a fight with a single finishing kick.
How to Play
- Survive the first Worm waves — basic Worms (Class C) appear early and often. Kill them. Each drops a Worm Core.
- Craft the Kabuto Zecter Belt — requires 1 Worm Core, 10 Plasteel, 2 Spacer Components, and a Fabrication Bench (Bionics research).
- Implant it — surgical installation at the torso. The Zecter bonds to the rider's spine permanently.
- Henshin — activate Cast Form for heavy armor and survival. Call "Cast Off!" to shift to Rider Form for speed and combat abilities.
- Manage your Zecter Energy — the bar drains while transformed. Passive regen is slow; use Worm Cores and bioferrite to recharge fast.
- Hunt Worms for resources — study Worm Spines on Holding Platforms for Anomaly knowledge and bioferrite.

- Anomaly DLC (required — Worms are Anomaly entities; the Zecter Belt and Worm Core work without it, but Worms will not spawn)
Compatibility
- Safe to add to existing saves (no map-persistent data until the Zecter is installed or a Worm spawns).
- Uses Harmony patches for pawn rendering — compatible with most visual mods. If another mod patches PawnRenderer.RenderPawnAt, load order may matter.
- Does not modify any vanilla defs — all additions are new defs under the KabutoMod namespace.
Worm Holding Platform Features
All Worms are fully compatible with Anomaly's Holding Platform system:
- Restraint straps (the "red lines") display correctly on all four Worm types.
- Bioferrite production — Worms generate bioferrite passively while alive on a platform. Higher-tier Worms produce more (Worm < Clock-Up < Scorpion < Cassis).
- Study — All Worms can be studied via the Entity Codex for Anomaly knowledge.
- Containment — Worms attempt to escape periodically; platform containment strength prevents actual breakout.
