Tired of predictable beer? Welcome to chaos!

This mod transforms beer from a simple beverage into an unpredictable gamble.
Every sip could be your last... or just another Tuesday.


What Happens When You Drink?

When a colonist drinks beer, one of these effects occurs:

  • Explosion (30%) — BOOM! Hope you weren't standing near anything important
  • Poison (20%) — Toxic buildup. Should've checked the expiration date
  • Fire (15%) — Spontaneous combustion. It's a feature, not a bug
  • EMP (10%) — Stunned for a few seconds. Brain.exe has stopped responding
  • Nothing (25%) — Lucky you! Just regular intoxication

Witness Effects

But wait — there's MORE chaos!

Colonists within 15 tiles who witness the drinking have a 15% chance to experience their own effect:

  • Catch fire
  • Vomit on the spot
  • Get injured (severity depends on preset)

Three Difficulty Presets:

  • Light — Minor scratches (5 damage)
  • Medium — Moderate injuries (15 damage)
  • Hardcore — Random limb removal. Yes, really.

What Affects The Odds?

Traits:

  • Chemical Interest — +50% chance of effects
  • Chemical Fascination — +100% chance
  • Tough — -50% chance (iron liver!)

Fully Customizable

Don't like explosions in your dining room? Adjust everything in Mod Settings:

  • Individual effect chances (0–100%)
  • Effect strength (explosion radius, fire size)
  • Enable / disable specific effects
  • Witness effect preset (Light / Medium / Hardcore)
  • Trait modifiers

Warning

This mod makes beer dangerous. Colonists may:

  • Explode
  • Die from poison
  • Burn alive
  • Lose limbs (Hardcore preset)

Recommended: Don't drink beer in groups. Don't drink beer near flammables. Actually, maybe just don't drink beer.
