Finally, your colonists can enjoy truly high quality carpeting.
Luxuriating in the softness of thrumbomane carpet. Digging their toes into some toasty, fire-resistant devilstrand. Basking in the beauty of inch-thick hyperthread pile.
Experiencing the... unique... texture of human leather 'carpet'. At least it's easy to clean...?
Carpet Stuff adds material variants for vanilla carpet floors. It lets you use more stuff to make carpets.
Instead of being limited to cloth, carpets can be built from most textiles, with the stats adjusting accordingly. The mod generates carpet floor variants automatically (and so it MAY handle modded textiles gracefully), and lets you swap the selected material by a right-click menu.
Features
- Adds textile and leather variants for vanilla carpet floors
- Uses your chosen material as the actual build cost
- Adjusts flammability based on the material used
- Adjusts beauty based on the material used
- Adjusts cleaning time based on the material used
- Keeps the vanilla carpet floor workflow intact
How it works
- Select a carpet floor as normal
- Right-click the carpet designator
- Choose the material you want to use
- Place carpets with that material
There is no texture or color variance based on material; that remains dependent on carpet style and color.

Very unsafe to add mid save. Quite likely to transform most of your maps floors into various carpets.
