Hark's Horde Night Revamped (Beta)
A multiplayer-ready overhaul of the classic Horde Night experience for Build 42.
On a recurring schedule set by you, the dead come for your base. Survive until morning.
Features

Full dedicated server support - works in single player and MP without separate configuration.

Per-player horde anchors. When the horde begins, your position is pinned. Spread out across your perimeter and zombies will spawn in the loaded chunks beyond your defenses, not on top of you.

Smart spawn algorithm pushes zombies as far from your base as the loaded world allows, then steps inward only if needed.

Cross-player exclusion zones prevent zombies from spawning in any teammate's face, no matter whose horde it is.

Atmospheric pre-horde warning one hour before the night begins.

15 unique arrival callouts when the horde arrives.

Visual indicator showing when the next horde is coming.

Configurable through the standard sandbox options menu - first horde day, frequency, hour, zombie counts, spawn distance, random horde chance.

Compatibility
Build 42. Single player and multiplayer. Should be safe to add to existing saves.
Beta Notes
This is a beta release. The core systems work and have been tested in both SP and dedicated multiplayer, but you may encounter edge cases. Reports and feedback welcome.
Credits
Built on the original Horde Night mod by WindFly - the foundation that made this possible.
Spawn validation logic adapted from Horde Night Fixed B42 by @ - thanks for keeping the mod alive into B42.
This rework focuses on dedicated server support, smarter spawn placement for large bases, and a bit of atmospheric polish.
A Note From The Author
I'll be straight with you: I'm a novice coder. This mod was put together with heavy use of AI assistance, lots of trial and error, and a stubborn refusal to let a broken horde mod stay broken. The code works and has been tested in single player and on a real dedicated server with friends, but I make no claims about it being elegant, optimal, or following best practices.
Use it, fork it, fix it, learn from it, ignore it - whatever serves you. If something breaks, let me know and I'll do my best to figure it out, but be patient with me.
Should the original author of Horde Night (WindFly) request this mod be taken down, I will comply without question. This rework exists out of love for the original; their work makes this possible.
