Pawns make smarter apparel choices when survival is on the line.
Pawns prefer cold insulation, scaling with cold temperature (vanilla does not scale properly, which can lead to freezing in plate armor)
Pawns prefer heat insulation, scaling with hot temperature (vanilla ignores heat completely when choosing apparel)
In vacuum (Odyssey): pawns prioritize vacuum-resistant gear, scaling with how much vacuum resistance they already have from other sources such as genes or implants
Optional emergency fallback: when pawns are in life-threatening conditions, they prioritize survival above everything else (toggleable in mod settings; note that this may cause pawns to swap apparel back and forth as the hediff fluctuates)
This prevents colonists from making deadly clothing decisions and helps them react intelligently to extreme environments.
Bonus: Pawns will automatically equip slave collars (if allowed by policy), so you don't have to micromanage masochists or psycasters using bioferrite collars.
Safe to add mid-save. Please keep in mind that this mod completely replaces a vanilla scoring function with my sligly expanded version, when you check the prefix with dubs performance analyser.
