with the development of jet technology the Aldene air force found itself technologically behind. the EW-11 whilst never seeing combat was the first jet enlisted by the Aldene air force and provided the foundations necessary for the continuation of the EW line of fighter aircraft into the jet era.
poor handling characteristics resulted in large numbers of aircraft and pilots lost and ultimately resulted in the retirement of the jet in favour of the heavier EW-12 A, but the pilots who survived their encounters with the EW-11 remember it fondly as a fun aircraft to fly
