Prome Systems - Advanced MK3 Lifeboat
Though it may seem like a step down from the MK2 Advanced Lifeboat due to the lack of autopilot, the MK3 offers key advantages. It is twice as compact, more fuel efficient, and designed for simplicity and reliability. The bright color improves visibility for easier rescue.
The MK3 seats up to 9 occupants, weighs 1290 kilograms, and reaches a top speed of 21 knots, The range of the lifeboat virtually limitless thanks to a proprietary engine design that remains classified. (truthfully around 75km range, but is more than ideal for a lifeboat) The overall cost of the lifeboat, including the winch system is $21200, but is worth the cost for safety and unique design.
Equipped with essential emergency gear including medkits, portable strobe lights, transponders, and more, the MK3 is built to keep you safe when it matters most.
Two winches are included for launch and recovery, along with a manual emergency release in case of power failure.
It is dangerous, but if you enter the engine microcontroller, you can increase the maximum RPS and therefore increase the maximum speed of the lifeboat, however, this may make it unsafe above 35 knots, and will reduce the range of the lifeboat. Do not exceed 30 rps, as this could result in the engine overheating.
