Backstory
The YAFR (Yet Another Fictional Railroad) Class-1 is an experimental oil-burning condensing Garratt designed to haul heavy trains at moderate speeds. Although successful at lower power levels, running with sufficiently high throttle would overload the condensers, significantly reducing the range. As such, it had TCP support added, allowing it to run lighter passenger and mixed trains that would not overload the condensers.
Startup
Turn the "Fire" key to start the fuel injection
Wait for the boiler to produce enough steam to power the auxiliary systems
Operation
Driving controls are on the right; boiler controls are on the left
It is recommended to use the balanced injector mode, as this will ensure the front and rear water tanks stay roughly even
