Built for the Wind and Coal career, she is a heavy lift ship to recover shipwrecks from the depths powered by steam piston engines.
She is equipped with a small submarine connected with the mother ship with a wire and several cranes and winches.
To operate the sub:
- Release the sub [H key 5]
- Release cable at high speed [Left throttle]
- Fill ballast up to 650L approx [H key 6]
- w/s a/d to control the sub.
- Propulsion [Right throtlle]
Anchor maneuver:
- once close to the target, slow down [throttle at 0.1 aprox]
- on the target turn on magnets [H key 4]
- set reverse to slow down [H key 1]
- turn on top propellers [H key 3]
When magnets are connected, stop all propellers.
Recover the shipwreak:
- Recover wire (you can start fast but when tension is applied, slow down to -0.10 or -0.15 approx)
- When close to the surface, stop recovering
- Get out of the sub [pick the oxygen mask)
- Use one of the cranes to quickly secure the wreck
- Use the pontoon winches to completely lift it.
Finally, once in position, unballast the sub [h key 6 again]
