An xml patch that does two things:
All decorative plants will last an entire calendar year after planting.
The unmodified game is brutally punitive about the labor required to maintain potted plants or a pleasant garden, especially when a single statue can provide 100x the Beauty for less labor and opportunity cost.
With this, all plants are at least annual plants, saving your colony a great deal of trouble.
All decorative plants have the same Beauty score.
This is to appease the little demon on my shoulder who reminds me whenever I am doing something that is mathematically suboptimal. Purely decorative planting should be an aesthetic decision, not a mechanical one.
This way my patch is structured, the compatibility is infinite and unerring. Every decorative plant that does, will, or can exist will be modified. If a decorative plant is not patched, it's a problem with that author not flagging it properly, not with my mod.
