The new Termite thump cannon is cool as hell. There's a limit to how much stuff you really run into in vanilla that requires you to be able to saw your way through a mountain with a man-portable Charge Mortar Turret, but I found myself thinking that I'd love to be able to legitimately acquire one of these to use for myself.
This mod adds a new research project following Pulse-Charged Munitions which allows you to craft a variant of a Mechanoid Thump Cannon at the Fabrication Bench. It's heavy, it's slow, it's expensive, it'll absolutely shred any fortification or building you point it at no questions asked.
You get slightly better results aiming at the ground in front of a wall than directly on a wall, but it'll chew through anything soon enough. The pawn version doesn't fire quite as quickly as the original Mechanoid one wielded by the termites, but it hits just as hard and makes a great support weapon for assaulting enemy fortifications of any sort, and it has a respectable range.
