Super Mafia Bros. is the first new title with the MAFIA intellectual property, with Vito and Joe redeveloped into being brothers trying to steal the mob's mountains of cash. Power-ups are the hard drugs of the time, ya-yo, luciferium, you know the stuff. The Toads are your average dock worker 'Joes', Princess Peach is matriarch of the Mecho Crime Family.
Joe and Vito managed to pull off the perfect job, every last penny of the mob's cash was in their figurative pockets in addition to stealing as much beer and yayo they could fit into their starship. Given this was 1956, their ship wasn't perfect and could just barely achieve interstellar flight. A drug and booze fuelled joyride ensues and the pair both crash land on the setting of the 2018 indie game, RimWorld. Vito and Joe may have survived the landing, but will they survive the mob as they try to recover their money?

The mob's very own planetkiller weapon is approaching this planet. If they fail to retrieve their money, it will smash the planet apart like a rifle bullet hitting an egg, annihilating not only Joe and Vito, but all life on the planet. Your starship was more advanced than anything the mob could cobble together, and for that Joe believes you have 300 days, or 5 years before they find you.
The news of your fortune has spread around the rimworld, attracting regular traders and raiders alike. Desperate warships fight above you for a chance at your treasury - the remains of their ships may lend you a helping hand (sometimes even literally).
