This craft is heavily inspired by the Elco 80' PT boat, but it is ultimately a fictional vessel — the PT-99.
It is an old wooden-hulled torpedo boat of the U.S. Navy, slightly modernized with the integration of more up-to-date equipment.
General Characteristics
• Three V12 diesel propulsion engines, enabling a maximum speed of approximately 30 knots (yes, I know that’s slow for a boat of this class)
• Basic GPS navigation and radar with a detection range of up to 8 kilometers
• Two autocannons and two machine guns
• Four externally mounted torpedoes
• Total fuel capacity: 12,500 liters
Internal Compartments
Crew Area (Bow):
• Mess deck with 8 berths
• Captain’s cabin, navigation room, galley, and armory
• Sanitary unit (head) with toilet and shower
Technical Area (Aft):
• Engine room:
• Three propulsion engines with additional generators supplying all onboard systems
• Two storage batteries powering all onboard systems
• Electrical distribution panels and fuse block
• Engine Monitoring Station
• Lazarette (accessible via engine room or deck hatch), used for storage of weapon supplies and spare equipment
Superstructure & Deck
• Bridge:
Divided into a fully enclosed Main Bridge and an elevated open-air Flybridge.
The flybridge offers enhanced visibility and simplified helm controls for operation under visual navigation conditions.
• Dayroom Superstructure:
Centrally located above the fuel tanks.
Integrates the daytime operations cabin and observation post.
• Radar Mast:
Installed atop the dayroom.
Supports radar equipment and position/navigation lighting.
• Engine Monitoring Station:
Located on the raised deck platform.
Functions both as an engine control console and as an access hatch to the engine compartment.
• Fuel Access Points:
Three refueling hatches positioned around the superstructure for direct access to fuel tanks.
• Deck Hatches:
One primary hatch provides vertical access to crew and technical compartments.
Separate hatches give direct entry to the engine room and lazarette.
Armament Configuration
• Two autocannons, located at the bow and stern, providing coverage in fore and aft firing arcs
• Two machine guns, mounted port and starboard, for lateral defense
• Four torpedoes, mounted externally along the hull for surface-target engagement
