Overview
The RQ-15 Mayfly was developed as a cheap, reliable alternative to refueling pods installed on aircraft and frontline reconnaissance aircraft with the benefit of not endangering any pilots. Primarily needed by aircraft carriers for extended operations, the Mayfly is fitted to operate off short flight decks using catapults and arresting gear to allow for the ease of operations.
