I took a very old mod for A16 and updated it (with the help of a friend). Administer Luciferium to a prisoner to trigger mechanite growth in certain organs, letting you harvest the growth and refine it into Luciferium with an appropriate tech unlocked. May or may not put a Techprint behind it in the future.

Recycle mechanites from humanlike hosts! (Note will kill host)
Now when a pawn suffers a fibrous/sensory mechanite infection or takes luciferium, their tissue is saturated with mechanites.
If you remove the body part that contains the mechanites (killing the host), you will obtain recycled mechanites.
These can be used to craft luciferium (requires research).
