Features
"Forageables", as seen in preview image, make some plant spawns in the wild, as well as berry bushes. This is made to increase the effectiveness of foraging, allowing to find some more than berries and agave fruits.
Not all plants will spawn in each biome; usually you can find from two to three/four plants in a certain biome. This is intended to avoid having small quantities of various vegetables, cluttering disorganized stockpiles.
For example, if you play with "Vanilla Plants Expanded", in a temperate forest you can find onions, pumpkins and tomato plants, but not cabbages.
Various mods are supported, so you can play with different mods that add crops and find them into the wildness. Bear in mind that the longer is your list of compatible mods, the more various is the list of crops that can be found in a certain biome, so you could play with five or six different wild plants in a certain biome.
Supported mods
-Vanilla Plants Expanded
-Kit's brazilians crops
Planned features
-overall balancing;
-Support for other mods;
Tips and Load order
Load this mod after every mod that add plants. Overally, the bottom it is, the better.
"Forageables" works well with other mods that increase or modify biome plant density. Some of them are:
-Fertile Planet;
-ReGrowth: Core and Framework;
Issues and notes
-Due to the fact that I can't code, all my work is going to be pretty simple, as well as effective (i hope). So I can't add a toggle button to enable/disable wild spawns of a this or that mod's crops. When I'll learn to do it, I'll add this feature, but I don't promise nothing.
-Plants that you can find in a biome could be unrealistic. Obviously, this is just a game, but I will made balancing as well as I expand and work on this mod.
-For compatibility reasons, I haven't planned to add even vanilla crops to "forageables" list. There are plenty of mods that, directly or indirectly, edit these ones'wild spawns.
This mod just works on modded plants.
Suggestions
I will add support for mods that I usually use. If you want I add support for a particular mod that you like post a comment and I will try to add it.
For obvious reasons, I can't add support for:
-RimCuisine 2 (it already has wild spawns for its crops);
-Vegetable Garden Project (way too big to make in a short time, however I could try when my plans about this mod will be fulfilled);
