4-Axle AWD Semi Truck
Overview
A four axle, all-wheel-driven semi truck, for towing saddle trailers (SIBTaT compatible).
Price: $ 39'190.-
Features
The truck features a medium engine, manual gearbox with 8 gears, reverse and low gear. Reverse camera and light, a distance warner and working side mirrors. An acoustic warning sounds to warn bystanders when the truck is backing up. Yellow caution lights and a heavy truck horn round this package up.
It features a dynamic steering system with the two front axles steered. Steering angle depends on speed, so it drives fairly stable even at high speeds.
The cab contains a bed for overnight stays, a regulated heater, transponder locator and a variety of equipment like warm clothing, fire extinguishers, torches, cables, ropes and hoses.
The passanger seat has a plugin NFT interface, able to control NFT systems connected to the winch (e.g. Rescue Container, Fire Fighting Container, SAM Container, etc.)
The aft cab is equipted with a winch, which can be used for towing or recovery and contains the NFT link.
It's also equiped with a lane-hold functionality: Eases driving on train tracks due to their side walls. But keep an eye on speed and payload. Lane-hold tends to oscillate at high speeds or heavy payloads or both.
Besides a saddle coupling, it also features a standard trailer connector. Keep in mind to disable one of both in the cab when connecting a trailer (saddle or tow bar) to avoid interference!
Both connectors feature SIBTaT standard.
