Are you like me and keep forgetting to remove skulls from corpses before cremating or butchering them? Then this mod is for you!
Adds two recipes to the crematorium, both of which provide a skull when a humanoid corpse is destroyed; one will auto strip the corpse while the other won't. Also adds recipes to the butcher's table and the butcher's spot.
Handy for building all those skullspikes you need to keep those pesky slaves in line, or indeed anything else that uses skulls, now that they're part of the base game and not the Ideology DLC.

A patch also exists to restrict these recipes to corpses with heads, but you'll need to edit the file to disable it should you so wish; instructions on how to do this can be found below.

EDITING HONEST CORPSE PATCH FILE
If you want to edit the patches for Honest Corpse which force you to use headless corpses in the recipes it adds, follow these steps. Bear in mind you will need to do this every time Simple Skulls is updated.
1. Go to this mods folder. If you installed RimWorld via Steam, go to your Steam folder, then steamapps/workshop/content/294100/2572603089. If you installed it via another method, go to wherever the game is located, open the Mods folder and then open SkullsFromCremation.
2. Open Patches/Honest Corpse/HonestCorpsePatches.xml using a text editor; I strongly suggest using Notepad++ for this as it makes things easier.
3. Find the line which says <!--DISALLOW USE OF HEADLESS CORPSES--> (if you're using N++ it will be on Line 22).
4. Delete --> from the end of the line so that it reads <!--DISALLOW USE OF HEADLESS CORPSES instead.
5. Go to the line above the one that says </operations> (Line 31).
6. Add --> to the end of the line so that it says </li>--> instead.
7. Save the file and close it.
8. Start RimWorld (or restart it if you had it open at the time).
9. The patches will have been applied to the Honest Corpse recipes, meaning you'll need to dispose of headless corpses some other way.
