Condition Matters

A mod that makes you actually care about the condition of your equipment (i.e. apparel and weapons). How it works: Condition (i.e. health) now affects: Type Melee Weapons Ranged Weapons Apparel Effect reduced armor penetration reduced accuracy reduced armor rating and insulation A simple curve is applied to all of these stats: Condition 0% 25% 90% HP multiplier factor 0.0 0.5 1.0 To put it into words, condition will start to take effect once it goes below 90%. At 25% condition, the weapon or armor's efficiency is halved. Lower than 25% condition, you'll start to see a steeper decline in your equipment's efficiency. FAQ: Can I add/remove to/from an existing save? yes :) Combat Extended compatible? Not sure why u would want to use this with CE. CE introduces it's own stats and already factors condition into those stats. This mod is pretty much for anyone not playing with CE, but liked this aspect of CE. Yayo's Combat compatible? Yup. After some play testing with it I can say its bug free. If you find any issues let me know. Does this affect raiders too? And if so, wouldn't this make raids easier? 3-5 Raiders out of every 10 raiders will have gear/weapons in good condition on average. Sometimes they'll all have gear in good condition. In pure gunfights, this mod might give you an advantage (assuming you have fighters equipped with armor and weapons in mint condition). Pure melee raids or grenadiers are unaffected. However, early game is more challenging if you're depending on loot drops before you're able to craft your own gear and weapons. So mod seems to balance itself out in this regard. You'll be further incentivized to craft/buy equipment/weapons rather than solely depending on loot drops.
