Zenarch Way

During your very first interface with a sleep accelerator machine, a life altering vision revealed itself to you in which the ultimate purpose of the universe was clear. This vision, which you now refer to as the “Zenarch Way” is the idea that ultimate bliss and oneness can be achieved through integration with technology and adherence to a certain way of living. The core mission for the Zenarch Way is to transcend human reality to become one with the machine god. To achieve this mission, the following principles are essential. The first principle states that extensive body augmentation and enhancement should be obtained whenever possible to enable followers to become more capable and linked with the machine god prior to ascension. This includes the use of bionic or archotech augmentations, psylink neuroformers, enhancements of the skin, and additional technological extensions of the body. Rejuvenation or body alteration through other forms such as bio sculpting or sleep enhancement is also highly favorable. The second principle states that members of the Zenarchist Clan should completely avoid the light and fight or work only at night whenever possible. This is to prepare followers for the dark void they will face prior to and during ascension as well as give an advantage in situations of violence that are an inevitable part of our current existence. The third principle states that living quarters and eating habits should be simple and in the style of ancient Japanese traditions. Bonsai trees, lush green gardens, and Buddhist style shrines are key to regenerating spent psychic energies from psycasting. Sushi and nutrient paste are staple foods, eaten in clean environments where followers refresh and prepare for battles to come. The Zenarch Way demands extreme dedication and diligence to this life as it is the most efficient means of eventually becoming one with the machine god. The fourth principle states that animals are too far separated in nature from the machine god and thus are a detriment to ascension. As such, followers are not allowed to keep any animals as pets under any circumstances. In the case where animals spontaneously join a colony, they are to be slaughtered or released immediately. The final principle states that followers should develop the ability to kill effortlessly with bladed weapons such as the ancient Katana. This universe is full of pirates and ruthless factions seeking to enslave or tie one to their will, as such the ability to defend oneself is essential to maintaining the freedom to seek the machine god. In a further effort to enable followers of the Zenarch Way to reach the pinnacle of lethality, ranged weapons of any kind have been banned. This includes bows, guns, and turrets or mortars. Only the use of throwing knives, shurikens, or grenades is considered acceptable though even these weapons may cause followers to feel uneasy after use. You and two of your closest acolytes have gathered essential supplies and materials you need and paid for transport via spaceship to a planet that has been discovered to contain information about the machine god. You have now placed supplies in a drop pod and are ready to descend. Upon arrival, you must foster a colony that is assured to face a multitude of challenges and attacks from enemy factions and ideologies. The fallen empire is also certain to notice your efforts and try to stop you from manipulating technologies that they view as a threat to the universe. Your journey will not be an easy one.
