This plane came out as a result of a self-imposed challenge to make a single cylinder aircraft. The early 20th century design mostly came from the Curtiss Model D (hence the name), only with some notable differences, like the single cylinder supercharged diesel engine, and being under my fictional company's name. Also, it requires lots of runway! it is in fact able to fly if given the opportunity.
