My original Tucker 48 was, what you might call, complete and utter garbage and i just couldn't let that remain.
Presenting the new and very much improved Tucker 48! This vehicle has been rebuilt from the ground up, and it's actually accurate this time around.
Sporting a 6-cylinder boxer/flat engine from a helicopter, a centermount steerable headlight, suicide doors, and less interior than a stripped out Trabant, the Tucker 48 was once the embodiment of safety and style, until Tucker himself got screwed over by the big Detroit automakers.
I'm not here to give a whole history lesson on the Tucker 48, despite how interesting it is, if you wanna know how this car came to be I highly recommend the movie Tucker: The Man and His Dream, and with that out of the way, here's what to expect from this car.
The hood can be popped via the key by the left foot of the driver, inside you'll find most of the logic as well as a hose and cable.
The engine bay can be opened by looking around the center of the hatch.
The fuel filler is behind the left fender vent, the button to open it is directly below it on the bottom edge of the car.
The centermount headlight behaves just like its real-life counterpart! It only turns on once you've steered enough in either direction, the intent of this was to guide the driver around corners.
Holding S while stopped will take you into reverse, it's very slow but it works.
This thing is rather speedy, and it doesn't handle jumps well, so be careful if you decide to leave the road in this.
And that's about everything, this is by far my favorite car of all time and I'm very happy with how it came out, especially compared to its predecessor.
I hope you enjoy puttering around in this oddball automobile :)
