How it works
Butter+ detects when you're panning, zooming, or interacting with menus - then temporarily throttles simulation to boost framerate. The moment you stop, simulation catches back up.
Your 15 TPS colony? Camera still runs at 144 FPS.

Settings
Options > Mod Options > Butter+
Tuning
- Smoothing - How aggressively stutters are detected. Higher = smoother but more slowdown.
- Min FPS - Always boost when below this FPS. Auto uses your monitor refresh rate.
- Max Slowdown - How much game can slow down. Lower = smoother, higher = faster game time.
- Triggers - Toggle camera movement and UI interaction boosts on/off.

Engine Modes
- Butter+ - Instant burst, smooth wind-down. Best feel. Recommended.
- Dynamic - Ramps gradually. Less slowdown, but first frames may stutter.
- Static - Always max boost. Smoothest, but slowest game time.
Advanced
- Stabilization - Hold boost steady before reducing. Prevents tickrate hunting.
- Cooldown - Keep boosting after you stop moving.
- Jitter thresholds - Fine-tune stutter detection sensitivity.
- Fine triggers - Choose exactly what activates boost (panning, zooming, menus, etc.)
