Jianghu

"Once you enter the jianghu, you cannot turn back" Welcome to the Jianghu mod. Jianghu (江湖, jiānghú) literally translates to "rivers and lakes" (jiāng = river, hú = lake), but in Chinese culture, it refers to a parallel, lawless society outside official government control—a shadowy, nomadic world of wandering martial artists (wǔlín 武林), knights-errant (yōuxiá 游侠), sects, bandits, beggars, merchants, and outcasts who live by personal codes of chivalry (xiá 侠), righteousness (yì 义), loyalty (zhōng 忠), and vengeance (chóu 仇) rather than imperial law. This is a fairly big mod. It brings 7 new factions, over 20 new weapons, new abilities, a new training device, wine making, tea making (6 types), a custom scenario, and a custom storyteller and the new kung fu skill. There is a new material bamboo wood, that you can get from vanilla bamboo trees and new moso bamboo trees. You can use this new matieral to build all sorts of things in the nice green bamboo color. There are two playable pipa musical instruments. one standing type which actually plays music, and will give a nice buff to the player and the listeners. There is a weapon type, so that your pawn will hold it, they can play it(random song of 3 songs) it will buff the player and listeners, it also has a special ability for ranged musical attack. There is a new Taoist Ideology, with a custom ideogram for floor (yin yang) and taoist sculpture/statue. Suggested Instructions: Choose the jianghu scenario, choose the jianghu monk storyteller, I suggest mostly just using the new factions, but obviously play how you want. Kung fu skill is raised just like melee, fight and hit things. you can build a kung fu training pole(in misc) that will help you train melee, kung fu skill, and traits like iron palm and iron body. There are special kung fu ability books scattered throughout the game, some from traders, some can only be gotten by defeating enemies. Same with weapons, some can be had through trading, or must be gotten by defeating enemies. You can create a wine jar and create wine with it using rice and hops. You can also create tea at a campfire or stoves.
