This is the original mission i made for the Endurance back when the ship was first released, I have decided to make it public for all of you to enjoy. The ship spawns at the arctic fishing village (since South Georgia Island and its whaling station doesn't exist in game) and you will then depart and explore the arctic. Take care to be both cautious and careful, what the ice takes, it keeps.
The real ship was lost in the Weddell sea in 1915 after becoming trapped in the crushing ice of the arctic and was only found more recently in 2022, a century after Shackleton's death on south Georgia island.
The story of the ship, Sir Ernest Shackleton, and his crews extraordinary voyage and survival in the vast arctic from the ships last location to Elephant Island and then further to South Georgia needs no introduction. I was first introduced to the story 20 years earlier in elementary school with an illustrated account that was in one of our English books from back then. Later, i learned a little more through a book i had on maritime disasters titled "disasters at sea".
