S/V "Lost Wind" Hybrid Exploration Schooner
NEEDS A MODDED WORKBENCH OR MISSION TO SPAWN
The S/V Lost Wind is a hybrid topsail schooner used in Project Aubrey, a voyage around the world. The expedition was headed by world renowned explorer Hudson “Abyss” Drake.
History: In the midst of wartime, the Lennington State approved funding for a voyage of great proportions: A circumnavigation of the world. The first since the Anderson Expedition several years before. The keels of S/V Lost Wind and her sister ship, S/V Farswept were laid down in 1859 by Abyss Maritime Inc. After the completion of sea trials in 1862, the two ships were ready. On the dawn of March 22, 1863 the two ships departed port and headed for the open ocean.

Instructions:
Engine:
In the engine room
1. Open the Fuel Valve
2. Turn the Ignition Key
3. Throttle to 1
At the Helm:
The only controls you have at the helm are Reverse, and Throttle Down
Liferaft:
1. Attach ropes between Front Rope Anchor and Front Winch and between Back Rope Anchor and Back Winch
2. Press the Detach Liferaft button (hidden behind the mainmast)
3. Press the Take Control button(located on the port side of the foremast)
4. Use Mizzen Sheet throttle lever to rotate the davit over the water
5. Use the winch Control Panel to lower the liferaft into the water
6. Disconnect the ropes
7. Row away into the sunset
Opening Jib Sail:
1. Remove rope from rope anchor labeled “Reefing Line”
2. Put the rope in the designated inventory spot on the deck
3. Tighten the jib using the respective button located to the left of the helm, until you begin to gain speed
Reefing the Jib Sail:
1. Tighten the jib from the button located to the left of the helm
2. Once the jib stops flapping, connect a rope between the bow winch and the rope anchor labeled “Reefing Line”
3. Remove the rope from the rope anchor labeled “Jib Line”
4. Use the “Reef Jib” Button located near the bow winch, until the sail is closed
Notes: To raise/lower the top sail halyard the corresponding sheet must be set to 0.0
