Hammond PBD 70 Sojourn IIA MPRA
A long range maritime patrol bomber and seaplane built by the fictional Hammond Company. Features 8 wing mounted bombs, airborne firefighting capabilities, deployable search and rescue package, waypoint navigation, and a maritime search camera. Can be fully operated (excluding the observer's camera) from the pilot seat but is best utilized with a crew of 5. Aircraft livery and insignia represent the fictional Crown Islands Coast Guard Service.
Startup Guide:
Unfold wings from Wing Stowage Lever
Disengage Landing Gear Brake
Turn Dual Engine Ignition Key
Pull Dual Engine Throttle to desired level
In Flight:
Pull Pitch Throttle to around .20 - .25 to maintain level flight
Waterborne Takeoff:
Pull Pitch Throttle to at least .65
Engage Aquatic Mode propellers
If necessary, deploy and retract landing gear to provide a "Boost" out of the water
Known Issues:
Depoloyable SAR Package does not float as intended
Manual bilge pump is slow and ineffective
