[AE] PKD Blaster (Blade Runner)
The venerable Steyr Pflager Katsumata Series-D Blaster.
Early spacer technology applied to industrial firearms.
A "detective special" variant of the standard-issue .44 police blaster assigned to Blade Runners; its power-assisted mechanisms were designed to provide improved stopping power for "retiring" rogue androids.
Later android generation durability eventually outpaced concealable firepower - it's best to shoot them twice.
Many examples have been lost over time and scattered around the world due to the dangerous nature of their intended service. It's part of the business.
