Having problems keeping your meat fresh on your tribal playthrough?
This mod will allow you to keep them safe from rotting by introducing a popular technique from the 18th century.
Keep your meat fresh by adding big amounts of salt to it. They will last a lot more of time and you can also mix some spices and let them dry for a long time in order to get the most delicious sausages Rimworld has ever seen.

Q: Quarry compatibility for getting salt?
A: Quarry mod has an in-game option to adjust what you can get from quarries, it turns out that since salt is naturally generated, it'll be enabled by default, you can adjust how much salt to get though.
Q: Where do I make these new meat types?
A: They can be made at a butchering table, you need to research them first.
Q: Save game compatible?
A: The mod will work, but if you want the natural salt to generate you'll need to start a new one (or you can go search them in another map cell, although, I haven't tested it so I don't know if it will work)
