M48A2 (G) A3 - Patton (1970) - MBT

M48A2 (G) A3 MBT

**Fictional**

Description
"The supposed cheaper and semi-upgraded variant of the M48 Patton. It was designed to maintain its major functionalities while being cheaper by removing and replacing most of its components, but this also led to a great reduction in armor. The reason was to simply produce more at a faster rate….,which was a requirement during the cold war. The M48A2 (G) A3 was also designed to be easily modified for future additional components and upgrades."

How to Operate/Notes:

  • Get in the hatches (there's 3; one for driver, one for loader, and one for both gunner and commander)
  • If you're a driver, simply flip the switch for engine and systems (you can also use a fixed map for guidance)
  • If you're a gunner, simply turn on the gunner systems, and control with panels (plenty of buttons, but they're labeled)
  • If you're a loader, you can either sit or stand to load the breech; press the button to close the breech (opens when there's no ammo inside)
  • If you're a commander, you dont have much controls (yet), but have plenty of viewports/optics to guide and command your crew (there are also radios enough for most crew members)
  • Minimum crew of 2 (driver and gunner, like in war thunder), but it's more effective when it's crewed by 4.
  • It is ideal for the crew to wear armor for increased survivability.
