'The Big One' - Single-cylinder tractor
The name:
'The Big one' refers to the tractor's large size, but also the large single cylinder engine
The idea:
Instead of using multiple smaller cylinders, why not use one big cylinder?
How does it actually perform?
Not very well. The big single cylinder engine has an excessive amount of torque, and due to where it's mounted, the centre of gravity is quite high. This leads to a somewhat unstable vehicle prone to losing traction and spinning out. Still, if you manage the throttle carefully it's drive-able.
Inspired by the Lanz Bulldog but by no means a replica of it.
