Mark 4H Joint Attack Protocol Torpedo (JAPTOR)
The Mark 4H Joint Attack Protocol Torpedo or MK-4H JAPTOR is a Light-weight, anti submarine or anti surface torpedo.
Torpedo is a Surface Attack Torpedo primarily launched from a hard point on a vessel But can swim out of a torpedo tube. It can be Airdropped as well.
The following file contains the torpedo along with an example launch platform so you can modify your vehicles to company the MK-4H.
---Features---
Programmable Interface: Unlike the old SADCAP Torpedoes (links below), the JAPTOR, once attached to a hardpoint, has its own Interface using a 1x1 monitor and two instrument panels with some stuff on it that is mostly for show and "realism". More info below.
Y axis Attack: This torpedo features an extra Deprecated Sonar for Y axis attacks against underwater objects. It replaces the medium sized warhead on the old SADCAPs.
Water Activation: In order to use this, there is a microcontroller in the nose of the torpedo called the "Delayed Start MC." The rest is self explanatory.
The Torpedo contains features that enable it to Snake Search & Circle Search & Is rated 71 Knots. If it misses it's target. It Can be set to Initiate It's Re-attack Protocol.
And you can set timers for when you want the search to begin and when to arm the detonators
For Long Range Locking, It contains a "Memory Mode," and you should keep that on. And Memory mode can also be use with the Re-Attack Protocol with a setting called "Memory Mode No Escape."
---GUIDANCE LOGIC, ATTACK PROTOCOLS and JAPTOR INTERFACE----
There are two guidance modes: Chase and Bang-Bang Intercept. Chase acts like all the torpedoes just attached to a deprecated sonar with an x*1 Function. But with Bang-Bang Intercept, It does it's best to Aim for the center of the vessel using a scuffed ON and OFF Logic. Although It has it's Problems at long range, It works with ease.
>>Bang-Bang is not recommended when against Submarines.<<
There are two Attack Protocol Modes: Surface and Submarine. The depth for both modes runs just 5m below the surface. In surface mode, the torpedo will maintain its -5m depth except when in Submarine mode, once it's found a target. The torpedo will prioritize both surface and sub-surface objects in submarine mode and will not discriminate.
There are two search modes: Snake and Circle. In Snake, the JAPTOR will zig-zag to find it's target, and circle is self explanatory
---JAPTOR INTERFACE MISC STUFF---
All the modes explained above can be changed from the main page on the JAPTOR Interface. the instrument panels use press buttons. So if your game is running a little slow, be sure to hold those buttons for a second for it to register.
SP = Search Protocol | AP = Attack Protocol | GP = Guidance Protocol | SYSBIT Numbers (010101) : All on main page
HS = Hull Sensor | IS = Impact Sensor | SD = Self Destruct | AT = Arm time for Self Destruct : All on next page
ZEROIZE: Holding this button on the instrument panel for 10 seconds will purposefully brick the torpedo. If you release it before hand, it will "recover the data". But once 10 seconds pass, it will remain bricked for good until you respawn it.
Built-In-Test: This is a cut feature that was to move the control surfaces around in a sort of test. It still works but only in the interface. It last for 30 seconds with the switch up.
For the next section, Fuze logic can ONLY be changed in the workbench. Not on the interface.
---FUZE LOGIC---
The torpedo contains three detonators, An impact sensor, A Distance sensor and an End-of-Run timer in the Fuze MC.
The Impact Sensor is primarily for Submarines and submerged objects. But the Distance sensor is for surface vessels. Once it senses it's under a vessel, it will trigger the fuze and explode, possibly targeting engineering spaces.
The End-of-Run timer can be optionally set and triggered to detonate after 60-300 seconds, or 1 to 5 minutes. It can only be set in the Fuze MC atop the JAPTOR.
---MISC STUFF---
The Psyops Beacon is a small 2x1 Microcontroller under the torpedo. It lets you and others know about the torpedo's status. and lets you keep track of it. It can be turned off in the workbench.
Yellow band = Live Warhead
The Speed Bug: There is a bug with the weapon when launched from a vehicle going over approx. 40 Knots (20m/s). This is for optimization of the Weapon. Just Know. If You DON'T Use It... Plan. Your. Escape. Because if it misses a target, Depending on if you want it to re-attack, it may pass up the enemy ship and target you.

I've been working on this on and off for a while now and now that it's done, thought i'd share it with the world.
