Infused Color Crystals for Star Wars Fully-Functional Lights
This mod simply adds Infused color crystals that have a damage bonus like the Red synthetic crystals, in the other crystal colors that may be made at a smelter.
Infused color crystals have the same stats as the Red Synthetic Crystal (a damage bonus), and the color of one of the other color crystals that you can make. That's it.
To make an Infused Color Crystal, you need:
One (1) Red Synthetic Crystal;
One (1) Color Crystal;
Ten (10) Stone Blocks.
Combine in a Geological Compressor and bake for four days at five gigapascals and 1,450°K. Ta-da! You have a more powerful color crystal!
==== Q 'n A ====
Q: What the hell is this malarkey about a Geological Compressor? You didn't f**k up Fully Functional Lightsabers by adding a unique crystal-making workbench, locked behind what is no doubt a ridiculously high-level tech and that gobbles up electricity for four days straight to make a color crystal, did you?!
A: No, because I'm not a masochist; it was a joke about the lore of making Synthetic crystals in Star Wars proper. You make them at the smelter, same as always.
Q: This is so uncanon! You can't make a crystal of another color!
A: It is you who are not versed in Star Wars canon; feel free to look it up. You can make a synthetic crystal in any color you desire, as Luke Skywalker did when he made a green crystal for his second lightsaber.
Q: Isn't this OP somehow?
A: If anything it's dramatically UP, since it literally doubles the cost of getting a crystal with the stats of a Synthetic Crystal to no mechanical benefit. You need 40 stone blocks to make a color crystal, and a further ten stone blocks to turn that color crystal into a synthetic infused red crystal.
Making a synthetic, infused non-red crystal requires an additional color crystal of the color you wish to make an infused crystal of, and an additional ten stone blocks.
Q: What the heck is with the 'u'? You British or something? You misspelled 'Colour' in the mod name, didn't you?
A: No, but Fully-Functional Lightsabers includes six color crystals, so I used The Queen's spelling to get a sixth letter for the preview image so I could flood-fill each letter with the exact RGB color of each of the color crystals.
Q: How hard was it to make this?
A: Not terribly, it's basically data-entry. The original makers of Fully-Functional Lightsabers made a very versatile system where they just plug and play with colors. I just cloned defs, changed some words, and it was off to the races.
Q: Does that mean you could have added the proper Hurrikaine crystal or something?
A: Probably could've.
